PVC or mesh?
PVC blockout gives the brightest colours and suits indoor banners, anything fixed flat to a wall, and outdoor banners that are up for a week or two. A solid banner acts as a sail, so on open sites it loads the fixings and can tear at the corners.
Mesh lets about a third of the wind straight through. Use it for scaffold wraps, hoarding banners and anything bigger than roughly 3m × 2m that stays outdoors for more than a few weeks. From five metres away the print looks the same as PVC.
What we need to quote
The finished size, whether it's indoors, short-term outdoors or long-term outdoors, how it will be fixed (cable ties to railings, bungees to scaffold, screwed to a wall) and how long it needs to last.
Artwork as a PDF at finished size with 50mm bleed is ideal. If you only have a logo and some wording, tell us what should be on it and we'll set the file up for you.
